It does wonders for wood.
That said floor drama continues but we’re seeing moments of light…
The floor guys spent the day banging and cutting and sounding like they were making all kinds of progress. Alas, all we ended up with was the last board placed in the foyer and about 10 boards in the kitchen so that the cabinet guys can place boxes tomorrow.
There was also a moment where half the dining area inlay was complete. Unfortunately, the guys who came today mistakenly undertook the task by attempting to complete one half of it before the other (vs starting with a diamond in the middle and working out) – that resulted in alignment issues. It had to be ripped out at the end of the day… Sheesh …
Anyway the inlay in the kitchen area has been sanded in prep for cabinets and I must say it gives me some hope.
