We accomplished a trip to the aquarium (with help from NinaMasi of course). Yay us!! We also managed to visit LynnMasi at work (sans NinaMasi). Double yay us!!

The Yellow River Game Ranch might just be better than the zoo… Where else can you feed bears, get up close and personal with some squirrels (who run right up to say hello and perform for peanuts), and sit in the middle of a bunny pen? Oh…and did I mention …
Where he’s planning on going we’re not sure… but he’s carry on sized and meets the weight requirements so I guess we taught him how to pack well…?
We took Aaric to the National Zoo today. They are currently in the middle of thier ZooLights event – all of the trees are wrapped in pretty lights and there are colorful light animals displayed throughout the grounds (such as the panda in the photo). Many of the real animals were not on display …
Three days without Mommy and the world did not come to an end. Aaric got to hang out with Mom Mom, Uncle Dave and Aunt Tiff (plus dogs and goats), Matt, Jay and the girls and Ashley. Words are coming quickly, so watch what you say, it may come back …

We decided to take advantage of Robb’s trip and subsequent layover in Colorado Springs to enjoy a mini-vacation. Aaric enjoyed his last monthiversary on the top of Pike’s Peak – a little sad for us but we are guessing that Aaric is probably happy that he will no longer have to tolerate his parents crazy displays …
