In case you are wondering what you’re looking at… This is the foundation beam that runs under our front door – complete with original bark. Safe to say they don’t make ’em like that anymore…
Quite literally. I came home to find this on our lawn. Which could only mean insulation on the underside of our house. Sprayed on! No more drafts! And no more squeaky boards! On the flip side it also means 24 hours away while the propellant for the foam insulation off …

Makes a rusty carcass look almost new. In other house news we saved a bird who at some point decided our kitchen might be a good home (until he realized it came with locked doors and windows).
