9:40am – So a thank you to those who gave blood for Aaric’s surgery – it is now in full use meaning that he is officially on the heart lung bypass machine and the hole is being patched up. All is going as planned with another update coming about an hour from now. For those who are curious the hole will be patched using Dacron (Gore-tex) so as Uncle Tim pointed out Aaric will soon have an all-weather heart – bonus !
