10:45am. Aaric is off of the bypass machine (heart restarted) and the surgeon is beginning to close. We should meet with the surgeon soon.
Borrowed blood

He apparently went to sleep well… basically didn’t put up a fuss beyond the first set of drugs. Incision made – no turning back now.
