Wondering where we are with it?
Not that much farther…
When last I posted, we had most of a floor, some of it sanded, cabinets in a pile, sheetrock work to be done, etc. etc.
Well, we have a little more floor – not complete mind you. We still have a pile of cabinets. The sheetrock work is done but the cost (in cleanliness) was great.
If you are following along, the cabinet install was stalled due to 1. the floor install and then 2. to an uneven ceiling.
That meant the whole ceiling had to be ripped out. THAT meant years (and I do mean YEARS) of dust, dirt, and general filth raining down. Everything ended up with a nice black (not gray mind you), black coat of dust – including the floors… ouch.
Robb and I have spent a couple of days mopping and wiping but I wouldn’t suggest wearing anything white if you come to visit…
