We took Aaric to the National Zoo today. They are currently in the middle of thier ZooLights event – all of the trees are wrapped in pretty lights and there are colorful light animals displayed throughout the grounds (such as the panda in the photo). Many of the real animals were not on display but it was fun anyway.
One of the most amusing sights at the event was a person in a panda suit dancing in a large snowglobe to Christmas music – distrubing yet intriguing. We later ran into the same panda, who had managed to escape from inside the snowglobe and Aaric was less than ecstatic about that – he’s apparently not a fan of people in panda costumes, okay… he’s terrified of people in panda costumes.
